Ares Games Wings of Glory: Avro Lancaster B MK. III Dambuster
The Avro Lancaster B Mk.III was modified for special mission against the German dams during World War II. Twenty-three aircraft of this type were built to carry the Upkeep bouncing bomb for the dam busting raids. The bomb bay doors were removed and struts to carry the bomb were fitted in their place, with a hydraulic motor fitted to spin the bomb. Lamps were added to measure the required low-flying altitude at night. These changes helped to bring the Avro Lancaster B Mk.III in history as the Dambuster.Country of Origin: China

The Avro Lancaster is a British four-engine World War II heavy bomber, designed and built by Avro for the Royal Air Force (RAF). It first saw active service with RAF Bomber Command in 1942 and, as the strategic bombing offensive over Europe gathered momentum, it became the main heavy bomber used by the RAF. The Lanc, as it was affectionately known, became the most famous and most successful of the Second World War night bombers, delivering 608,612 long tons of bombs in 156,000 sorties.Country of Origin: China

Ares Games Wings of Glory: Breguet Br.14 B2 (Audinot/Hellouin de Cenival)
The Breguet 14 was one of the best allround Allied two-seaters of the war, produced in large quantities for both recon and light bombing. It was the most common French two-seater in 1918 and was also used by USA and Belgium. This aircraft was widely used for both day and night bombing in the last year of the war. About 8000 were built before the war ended. Audinot and Hellouin de Cnival flew several bombing missions of Escadrille BR 127 from November 1917. They were shot down by enemy fighters during a daring mission, on March 28, 1918.Country of Origin: China
