Mosaic: A Story of Civilization is a Civilization-Building game from Glenn Drover, designer of, among others, Age of Empires III: The Age of Discovery, Railways of the World, Sid Meier's Civilization: The Boardgame, and Raccoon Tycoon.Mosaic is an action selection game. On your turn, you will perform one of seven actions and acquire components.Acquiring Components is important in creating the unique mosaic of your civilization. They are used as prerequisites for many new technologies, as well as for scoring. Also, by pursuing specialization in one or more Civilization Components, you may be able to claim a 'Golden Age' of that type.As the game goes on and your Civilization grows, scoring cards are eventually revealed from the four decks. Each time a scoring card is revealed, your Civilization will score for each region that you dominate with your cities and military units. After the third scoring card is revealed, there is one final turn and the game ends. You will then score for your cities and towns, your wonders, projects, and golden ages, and for all of your cards that score for your unique Civilization Components.

While playing Extraordinary Adventures: Pirates, you become a pirate captain sailing three ships through the Caribbean in search of rich merchants to plunder and friendly ports in which to trade your booty for riches.In more detail, you have one ship on each of the three "tracks", i.e., pathways through the Caribbean Sea. On each turn, you play three cards from your hand to move your ships. Your cards have a basic movement number, and often a secondary action. You may use one or the other to move your ships down the track or gain special advantages.Each of the three tracks winds through the Caribbean islands toward your ultimate goal: the Spanish Treasure Galleon at Trinidad. Along the way, there will be detours that lead to merchant ships that may be plundered, and towns that may be visited to cash in your plunder for treasure. Plundering merchant ships and visiting towns also allows you to recruit more crewmen (cards) for your crew (deck). The better your deck is, the faster that your ships are able to move, so deciding when to take detours for plunder and recruiting and when to sail on toward your ultimate goal is an important decision that every pirate captain must make.The first pirate captain to reach the Treasure Galleon at the end of any track ends the game. Each pirate ship scores points based on what place they finished on each track, as well as for the treasures earned by selling plunder. Railroad Rivals is a tile drafting and laying game where you build a Railroad Empire that stretches across America...and across your table. While playing Railroad Rivals, you will connect cities via the twelve great railroads that stretched across America, while simultaneously building your stock portfolio. You'll use those railroads to make deliveries, resulting in driving up the price of stocks. At the end of the game, if you have run the most profitable railroad while also owning the most valuable stocks, you'll become the greatest of all of the Railroad Rivals!Game Play:Each turn you will draft one new city tile, and one new railroad stock tile. You will then lay one of your city tiles next to a city tile that is already on the table so that you create a link between the two cities. The matching edges must both have the same railroad on them.Each newly laid city gets one or more randomly drawn colored cubes placed on it that represent the goods that can be delivered from that city. After all players have laid their city tile, you will deliver one goods cube using one of that city's railroad links.
