Dutch Blitz Game Co. Dutch Blitz is a fast-paced, exciting card game designed for 2-4 players aged 8 and up, with each round typically lasting around 15 minutes. Each player has a unique deck of forty cards, numbered 1-10 in four colors. Red and blue cards feature a Pennsylvania Dutch boy, while yellow and green cards display a Pennsylvania Dutch girl. To help with sorting cards between rounds, each deck has a distinct symbol on the back.
At the beginning of each round, players lay out three face-up cards to create their post piles, place a face-up stack of ten cards (the blitz pile) next to the post piles, and hold the remaining cards in hand face down. All players simultaneously try to empty their blitz pile. Players can start a Dutch pile in the center of the table with any 1 card and add to it in ascending order with matching colors. Cards can also be moved to post piles, but only in descending order with alternating boy and girl cards.

If no moves are possible, players can reveal cards from their hand stack in groups of three, using the top card to play onto Dutch piles or post piles according to the game rules. The round ends as soon as a player empties their blitz pile. Players then score 1 point for each card they have in the Dutch piles and lose 2 points for each card left in their blitz pile. The game continues until a player reaches at least 75 points, and the player with the highest score wins.
The Dutch Blitz: Expansion Pack allows for up to eight players with additional decks but is a standalone game in itself.
